- C3 is optional; if not specified, it is assumed to be 1 farad.
- C0 is the crystal's shunt capacitance; if not specified, it is assumed to be 3pF.
- ESR is the equivalent series resistance of the crystal. If not specified, it is assumed to be 60 ohms.
- Vpp is the AC peak-to-peak voltage measured across Q1's base and collector; if not specified, the maximum Vpp will be calculated.
- Calculation of the crystal's external load capacitance assumes 3pF of stray PCB capacitance.
